Be Calm: Be Happy is a 6-week introductory course teaching mindfulness meditation in the Plum Village tradition. Learn mindfulness as an effective counter-balance to the stresses of life and as a way to greater happiness.
Be calm Be happy introduces the key ideas and exercises to make our lives happier. We learn how to calm the chatter, worry, and anxiety of the mind by focusing on something happening right now.
This 6-week course introduces useful mindfulness and meditation practices to help us live a fuller and happier life. Mindfulness and meditation are about being mentally focused on the present moment, not absorbed in regrets, plans, worries or other thoughts. When we practise mindfulness we are more aware of the things that help us to be calm and happy. We are also more aware of the thought patterns that take us in the opposite direction. With this awareness, we can take positive choices in everyday life.
